Powerful beast of a machine! This auger ran through 24 post holes in hard packed clay in just a few hours. The 84cc has the power to run through small roots, hard packed clay and the 6′ and 8″ drives are perfect for my needs.
I was really hesitant to get this and considered renting, but now I own a great piece of equipment, I’m not constricted to a window of time to complete the post holes and I’ve got an easy way to dig out holes for planting shrubs after my fence is done.
